One-time setup needed. This site needs a free Firebase Realtime Database to share room codes, chat, and playback between devices. Open index.html, find the firebaseConfig object near the top of the script, and paste in your project's config (Firebase console → Project settings → your web app → SDK setup and configuration). Full steps are in the comment right above it.

Enter the code your friend sent you to walk in.

Paste a hosted video link when creating a room and share the 6-character code.

Your friend joins with that code and streams the same video from the same link.

Anyone's play, pause, or seek updates everyone's player within a second or two.
